TEAM
The FRISCO consortium was composed by a multidisciplinary team of academic and management partners:
The Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (FCUL) led the project (through its research arm FCiências.ID), bringing expertise in assessing and modeling hydrological and erosion processes in burnt areas;
The School of Agriculture of the University of Lisbon (ISA/UL) brought expertise on fire behavior and impacts, and statistical analysis;
The Águas de Portugal – Valor (AdP-Valor) brought hands-on expertise on water resources management and research interaction, ensuring that the results have practical application;
The University of Aveiro (UA) brought specialized field expertise on post-fire hydrological processes;
The Wageningen University (WU), although not an official partner, participated through the exchange of MSc and PhD students.

This work was funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology under the project FRISCO: managing risks of fire-induced contamination of water quality (reference PCIF/MPG/0044/2018).
